Assoc Prof Wei Lei

Associate Professor, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering

Assoc Prof Wei Lei

Dr. Wei received the B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology, China, in 2005; and the Ph.D. degree in Photonics Engineering from Technical University of Denmark, Denmark, in 2011. Then he joined the Research Laboratory of Electronics (RLE) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a postdoctoral associate. During his postdoctoral studies at MIT, Dr. Wei has led the original research on in-fiber fundamental junction structures, and established a versatile approach to produce semiconductor spheres scalable in size and quantity. In 2014, he joined the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore as a Nanyang Assistant Professor.
