Asst Prof Wang Xiao

Dr. Xiao (Renshaw) Wang obtained his Bachelor in physics from Shandong University (SDU, China) and his PhD in physics at the National University of Singapore (NUS, Singapore) in 2012. Subsequently, he was awarded a Rubicon research grant by the Dutch government and conducted two-year research at the University of Twente (UTwente, Netherlands) as a Rubicon fellow. In 2014, he moved to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, USA) as a postdoctoral associate. From 2015 to 2016, he is also a postdoctoral researcher at Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART, Singapore). Currently, he is Nanyang Assistant Professor under School of Physical and Mathematical Science (SPMS) and School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.
Research Interests
1. Material fabrication of strongly correlated electronic system and 2D materials;
2. Electronic property characterization on materials and electronics devices;
3. Magnetism. Searching new magnetic materials and explore novel spintronics device.
