Assistant Professor, School of Physical & Mathematical Sciences - Division of Physics & Applied Phys
|I am a theoretical physicist with background in statistical physics, and applied mathematics. I did my undergraduate studies at Stanford university and did my PhD and postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University, working on a range of problems from supersymmetry, mechanics of coin toss, statistical mechanics of thermal membranes, to compressed sensing.|
|My general research interests lies at understanding patterning and growth in nature.|
1) Brain and vision
2) Biomechanics of membrane biogenesis
3) Pattern formation in biological systems
My goal is to discover, explore and understand these complex biological systems using the language of physics and mathematics.
