The 2010 SMF Scholarships for PhD and Postdoctoral Fellow are now open for application. Please refer to the SMF website http://www.smf-scholar.org/ for more details. Please note that the application is opened for on-line submission to SMF from 10 October to 31 December 2009.

The fields of research currently supported are:

1. Environmental Science, Renewable Resources & Water
2. Engineering
3. Physical & Materials Science
4. Life Sciences 

and the level of financial support are:

1. Clinician Scientists - S$8,000 per month for up to 2 years
2. Post-doctoral candidate - S$6,000 per month for up to 2 years
3. PhD - S$4,000 per month for up to 4 years

All supporting documents (e.g. letters of support and certified true copies of certificates) will have to be submitted to Research Support Office by 8 January 2010.
