Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory will host a symposium to mark the start of a new joint research program between the Weizmann Institute of Science (Israel), Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory and the National University of Singapore. The WIS-TLL-NUS project will focus on morphogenesis, with sponsorship from the National Research Foundation (NRF) of Singapore.
The project will explore the molecular mechanisms that control cell shape and tissue morphogenesis using Drosophila, yeast, plants and mice, and in cultured cells. This inaugural symposium will highlight the research interests of the participating Weizmann Institute research teams and some of their Singapore-based counterparts. The symposium is open to all. Registration closes on 13 April 2009.
The programme consists of both oral and poster presentations. Lunch and dinner will be provided for those who registered online.
