Singapore will be hosting the East Asia and Pacific Summer Institutes (EAPSI) 2014 Programme from 9 June 2014 to 1 Aug 2014. The programme is to provide the U.S. graduate students (U.S. Citizens or permanent residents) a research experience in Australia, China, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan. It is administered in the United States by the National Science Foundation (NSF) with co-sponsorship in Singapore by the National Research Foundation (NRF).
All faculties are encouraged to share with your collaborators in the U.S. about this programme and encourage their PhD students to apply for this opportunity so that they could receive financial support to come and work in the summer. Successful applicants will receive:
· Roundtrip airplane ticket to Singapore (economy class)
· $5000 stipend
· S$4000 living allowance
