| Biography |
| Dr Cheng joined Aeronautical Systems Program in DSO in 1989 and was working on aircraft performance analysis using CFD and also led a team of engineers to perform aero-mechanical certification for F-16 aircraft. He later joined MINDEF to strategise the defence investment in unmanned systems and is currently responsible for the masterplanning, investment and program management for defense R&D in unmanned systems. |

| Dr Cheng's research interest is in Computational Fluid Dynamics, Aircraft design, Incompressible flow, Compressible flows and Turbulent flows. His current focus is on the design of small and tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. |
