| Biography |
Dr. Lim received his Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Germany in 1998 and his M.Sc. in Physics from the National University of Singapore in 2005. In 2010, he completed his Ph.D. at the Departments of Electronic and Materials Engineering in the University of Tokyo. The subject of his dissertation is the fabrication and characterization of silicon-germanium field-effect ring modulators and light emitters.
He is presently a Senior Member of Technical Staff in DSO National Laboratories, Singapore and an adjunct assistant professor in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. His current research interests are the development of microwave photonic systems and fabrication of microwave photonic devices based on lithium niobate or the silicon photonics platform. |
