Biography
Assistant Professor Louis Phee is currently in the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering since June 2003. He received his Bachelor and Masters degrees from NTU. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Pisa, Italy. His research interests include Medical Robotics and Mechatronics in Medicine. He has done significant research work his research areas and published over 40 top quality international conference and journal papers. He is an adjunct research scientist at National University Hospital and a programme manager of A*STAR. Currently he is also the Chairman of IEEE Robotics & Automation Chapter, Singapore. He was awarded the Young Scientist Award and Outstanding Young Persons of Singapore Award in 2006 and 2007 respectively.
Research Interests
His current research works focus on Medical Robotics and Mechatronics in Medicine.
