| Biography |
| Prof Tan is currently in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering since 1991. He received his Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Strathclyde, UK. His research interests include biomechanics and stress analysis. |

| Prof Tan's areas of expertise are biomechanics and stress analysis. His current research works focus on rotator cuff and spine. |
