Biography
Dr. Mayasari Lim joined NTU as an assistant professor in January 2009. She obtained her PhD degree at Imperial College London in Chemical Engineering. Prior to pursuing her PhD, she was a process and research development engineer at Novellus Systems Inc. and worked in the semiconductor industry for four years. She obtained her Bachelors degree in chemical engineering at UC Berkeley.
Research Interests
Dr. Mayasari Lim's research focus lies in the area of stem cells and regenerative medicine with current applications in blood and cardiac cell based therapy. The primary goals in her lab is to develop more biologically relevant/mimicking in vitro models and ex vivo systems for studying various diseases, understanding biology and provide improved cell based therapies.
