Biography
Dr. Mayasari Lim joined NTU as an assistant professor in January 2009. She obtained her PhD degree at Imperial College London in Chemical Engineering. Prior to pursuing her PhD, she was a process and research development engineer at Novellus Systems Inc. and worked in the semiconductor industry for four years. She obtained her Bachelors degree in chemical engineering at UC Berkeley.
Research Interests
Dr. Mayasari Lim is focused in the area of stem cell bioprocessing. Her expertise lies in hematopoietic stem cells and design of experiments. Her current research interest includes ex vivo expansion and differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells, bioprocess development, process characterization and modeling, bioreactor designs, and cardiomyocyte differentiation from embryonic stem cells.
