Research Interests
Our lab is interested in the biogenesis and homeostasis of organelles. Currently, we are focusing the following three areas:

1) The organization of the ER
2) The assembly\disassembly of nuclear envelope and nuclear pores
3) The regulation of Golgi structure and function by Arl small GTPases
Research Grant
  • Academic Research Fund Tier 1 (2012-)
  • National Medical Research Council (2012-)
  • Start Up Grant (2010-)
Current Projects
  • A systematical and functional study of ARF like small GTPases
  • Membrane trafficking in mTOR signaling and autophagy — the roles of Golgi localized ARF-like GTPases
  • The Biogenesis of Nuclear Envelope and Nuclear Pores
