| Biography |
| Kok Yong currently hold the appointment of Programme Manager in the guided systems area in Defence Research and Technology (DRTech) Office. He is responsible for the R&D technology management in the area of flight science and hydrodynamics for application in advanced air and naval platform. Prior to being seconded to DRTech, he was a Principal Member of Technical Staff in DSO National Laboratories. His professional experiences included the development of a control and navigation module for PSA unmanned ground vehicle project, controller design of a VTOL flight vehicle, developed and validated 6DOF simulation model for RSAF aircraft. Kok Yong obtained his PhD in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering from Stanford University under the Defence Technology Training Award (PhD Scholarship). He was awarded Public Service Commission Local Merit Scholarship for his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nation University of Singapore. |

Guidance, navigation, & control, and 6DOF simulation analysis for evaluation of guided systems. Optimal and inverse control for aircraft maneuvers. |
