| Biography |
Kathrin Albers has worked in the animation industry for more than 12 years. As an stop motion animator, designer and puppet builder she has worked on different film productions and art projects but most of the time she owned an animation studio located in Hamburg, Germany. In this time she realized a number of short films, trailers, music videos and commercials. The shorts ran successfully the festivals all over the world where they have been awarded many times.
2010 Production-funding by the FFA Berlin for the shortfilm „WHODUNNIT??“. 2009 Production-funding by the Hamburg Filmfunding for the animated shortfilm „WHODUNNIT??“. 2006 Funded by Shortfilm Agency Hamburg and TV channel Arte for the short “PETER'S PRINCIPLE” as part of the shortfilm competition “Do whatever you like-11 short films about the changing nature of work” 2003 Production-funding for the shortfilm ”THE RAT TRAIN ROBBERY“ by the Hamburg Filmfunding. |
