Biography
Dr. Wang Jing-Yuan is an Associate Professor in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and is currently Co-Director of NTU’s Residues and Resource Reclamation Centre (R3C). Dr. Wang is a licensed professional engineer in the US and has over 20 years of environmental consulting, research, and teaching experience in the US, Taiwan, and Singapore. He has been providing technical support to US EPA, DOE, ORNL, Taiwan EPA, Singapore NEA, PUB, JTC, AVA, and United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) in various environmental projects. Dr. Wang’s expertise includes solid waste resource management, contaminated site remediation, and environmental management. His current research interests are focused on decentralized waste and wastewater resource recovery, co-digestion of brown water and food waste, land reclamation of closed dumping ground, and bioconversion of plastic waste into biodegradable plastic polymers. Dr Wang has published 120 referred international journal and conference papers and over 40 technical reports and has a patent.

Dr. Wang’s expertise includes solid waste resource management, contaminated site remediation, and environmental management.
