1975-1990 Asst. Professor for Animation and Comic-strip-design at the university of Essen
1975-1994 own studio ‘madTParty’ in Duesseldorf
illustration work for European advertising. animation film producer for German TV. CG-design assignments for Richard Williams Animation London. spec.effx/matte painting work for live action film. co-creation of the comic strip series ‘Alfred J. Kwak’. styling of a 52 episode - ‘Kwak’ TV-series.
1987-1991 Production Design for Disney’s ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘Aladdin’ and ‘The Lion King’.
1990 German Golden Camera Award for the development of the cartoon character Alfred J. Kwak.
1991-1994 Production design and art direction at Spielberg’s London Amblimation Studio for ‘Balto’ and ‘Cats’.
