| Biography |
| Professor Hyunjung Lee joined the English Division in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences since 2009. She received her Ph.D. degree in Comparative Literature from The University of Texas at Austin, with her dissertation titled "Global Fetishism: Dynamics of Transnational Performances in Contemporary South Korea" in May 2008. Dr. Lee's research focuses on theatre studies, literature, and popular culture and her articles have been appeared in the Journal of Popular Culture and in Situations. She is now working on a book manuscript which deals with representation, reception, and consumption of Broadway musical productions in contemporary East Asia. |
