Galina Couture Boutique, Scottsdale, Arizona 2007-Present
● Managed boutique offering comprehensive services in image-consulting and design
● Produced runway fashion shows and private showings

Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona 1999-Present
Costume Shop Coordinator, School of Dance
● Created and consulted costumes for dance concerts, including costumes for renowned visiting artists
● Oversaw shop operations and coordinated production schedule and resource allocation
● Taught courses about costume design, production, and theory

Phoenix College, Phoenix, Arizona 1998-Present
Adjunct Faculty, Fashion Design Program
● Taught fashion design courses consulted students on individual projects
Research Interests
As for professional practice,she has been designing Couture Collections and accessories under the label
''GALINA COUTURE''.(www.galinacouture.com)

Her resent intrests and explorations are in the area of Fashionable Technology,which refers to the intersection of
design, fashion, science, and technology.

● Collaboration with Nottingham-Trent University (United Kingdom) and Arizona State University

● Costumes with embedded sensors that affected the light and sound of a dance concert
