| Biography |
Dr. Seow joined the School of Computer Engineering in February 2003, where he currently is an Assistant Professor. He has held visiting research appointments with the Systems Control Group, University of Toronto, ON, Canada, in 1997; the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Daejeon, Korea, in 2002; the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) Communication Science Laboratories, Kyoto, Japan, in 2003; and the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2005.
He is currently an associate editor of the IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering, and the IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics - Part A: Systems and Humans. He is a senior member of the IEEE and an elected member of Sigma Xi (The Scientific Research Honor Society, USA). |
| Research Interests |
| Dr. Seow's research interests include intelligent agents and multiagent systems, supervisory control of discrete-event systems and temporal logic, with emphasis on their mutual connections and applications. Information about his research group can be found on his web homepage. |
