Biography
Dr. Subodh Mhaisalkar is an Associate Professor and Head – Materials Technology Division in the School of Materials Science & Engineering at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Prior to joining NTU in 2001, Subodh has over 10 years of research and engineering experience in the Microelectronics industry where he held Engineering and R&D positions in ST Assembly & Test Services, National Semiconductor, and the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech). Prof. Subodh's areas of expertise and research interests include Printed Electronics, Bio-electronics, Printed Power, and Organic Photovoltaics. Subodh received his Bachelors’ degree from IIT-Bombay and his MS/Ph.D. degrees from The Ohio State University.
Research Interests
Current research interests for Prof Subodh include Printed Electronics, Biosensors based on carbon naotubes and nanowires, printed power, and Photovoltaics. Common to all these projects are methods of solution depositing semiconductors (organic, carbon nanotubes, or inorganic nanowires), device fabrication, fundamental device physics studies, and device integration.
