Ms Lin Ai-Leen
Lecturer, College of Business (Nanyang Business School)
|Aileen teaches Communication Management at the Nanyang Business School, at the undergraduate level as well as for the Nanyang Executive Education programmes. With a background in communications, and close to 15 years of experience in publishing, Aileen brings with her a breadth of experience to the classroom.|
Over the years, Aileen has helped both individuals and organisations brand themselves. Prior to joining NBS in 2013, she had spent over 8 years at the National Institute of Education, where she headed a Publishing Team. Before that, she worked with a local creative agency that provided communication solutions to corporate clients from a wide range of industries. She also spent a couple of years in educational publishing as an editor.
Her experience includes writing for print and online publications, editing materials for schools and companies, managing journals and book series, and developing websites and publicity campaigns. She has also helped to mentor others in the areas of writing and editing.
Aileen holds a Master's in Communication Studies from NTU, which was undertaken with a research scholarship from the university. Besides teaching, she also consults with corporate clients to help them craft both practical and creative solutions to their communication needs.
