NTU partners Epigeum in developing an online course teaching the key elements of Research Integrity including an introduction, data management, conflict of interest, publications, and human subjects. The course comes in five separate programmes:
Research Integrity Programme for Arts & Humanities
Research Integrity Programme for Biomedical Sciences
Research Integrity Programme for Engineering & Technology
Research Integrity Programme for Natural & Physical Sciences
Research Integrity Programme Social & Behavioural Sciences
CITS is currently working with the schools to customise the RI programme to meet the specific needs of the Schools or research entities. Please contact
Mr Chan Lay Kock if you have any queries.
Certification would be issued after completing the online Epigeum course.
All new postgraduate students must complete the Epigeum online course on Research Integrity before they are allowed to sit for their Qualifying Examinations.
Postgraduate students who have already passed their Qualifying Examinations will have to complete the course and attach the Epigeum course completion certificate with their TurnItIn report together for their thesis submission.
All Research Staff (including post-doctoral research fellows, research and project officers etc) are expected to complete the Epigeum programme prior to their annual review or re-appointment whichever is the earlier.
